Pioneer AVH-4000DVD stuck on demo mode

symptom:  Pioneer AVH-4000DVD stuck on demo mode, buttons were not working, couldn’t get unit back to normal.

 Remedy:  open the front panel, find out IC5301 on the back, re-solder IC5301.

    Will this same technique work on pioneer deh-p5750mp ? I have the exact same problem. Its in demo mode, buttons don’t work, only volume control works.
    And resoldering location will be different on mine or same IC5301, also by front pannel u ment the face plate right ? That has all the control buttons and all ?

    I really need help with this.
