Canon G7 won’t power on

The camera shut on itself suddenly, or won’t turn on, or you can turn on again sometimes.

 

This weird problem is caused by loose screws too as Canon G9. Please refer this post:

The microphone connector is different from G9. When you take off the top cover, put a small flat screwdriver under the connector (white), gently force the connector up to disconnect it.

update:

the DC/DC board part# is CM1-3757-000, you can find it on eBay

    And Abracadabra, it is alive again…
    Thanks a lot for your info, I have saved 250€ in Spain (Canon Service is stupid if they think I would spend this money)
